Yeah Ive ridden jamis for a while. Real strong, but real heavy. Looking at a transition, something to build around 28 pounds that can still freeride. Checked out the rain tho, looks good.

yuh,the BAM as you already know is more DH inclined. Heavier than an AM/Hucker. If the price was considerably lower (not saying it isnt a great deal already) i would buy.
